This app helps you build a solid life, not just as devoted church attenders and fellowshippers with brothers and sisters of The Rock, but as those who come to know Gods Word, who not only believe it, but remember it, recite it, declare it over our lives and others so they can receive all the benefit God has for them. Benefits of miraculous healing in body and soul, restoration in relationships, freedom from addictions and broken bondages.
Before you were even born, God has prepared incredible things for you to release into the world, into peoples lives. Their deliverance is your purpose. We stand firm on the truth of Gods Word. Not only does it contain truth but it is the truth. Our wholehearted embrace of that compels us to teach and instruct willing and thankful obedience to the commands of Jesus throughout the Scriptures. We do not compromise the teaching and preaching and healing - because Jesus never did. He demonstrated what a fully surrendered life looks like, entirely pleasing to God. This is what you will find in our faith, preaching and practice.
And we dont stop at telling you the truth, but rather we help you discover how to overcome past disappointments, mistakes, even rebellion, to come to the knowledge and application of the truth. We make disciples, as Jesus commissioned us to do, "baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything Ive commanded you." This mission is not optional. There is no, "should you choose to accept it." If one confesses that they trust Jesus for their salvation, their ticket into paradise forever in Heaven with God, we must devote ourselves to learning about Him and obeying His commands. What may strike you as unique about The Rocks approach to being a Christian is our dedication to equipping you with everything you need to fulfill your mission on this earth. Thats what we endeavor to do live, in person, daily, and always in this app. So what youll discover is that there are opportunities, invitations, inspirations and instructions for you to succeed in this spiritual life, to win the race that is marked out before you. As you engage with the Bible, the preached Word of God, as you fellowship with other believers (spiritual family members) at our campus or in a house church context and even through the app, you will become convinced that God sees you, knows you completely and has perfect plans for you. The role we play is that of willing and obedient servant and friend to the greatest King in existence - Jesus. He never leaves us, abandons us, orphans us. We, in turn, with gratitude, agree with His plans and directives and carry them out, recognizing we are indeed in a lifetime of battles and skirmishes, comprising our lifes journey out of darkness, into His light, carrying as many others as we can to glory with us.
